@robin that’s so funny, have you used a green onion except the base and put it in a bit of water? It will sprout new greenery

I planted the bulb part just to see if it would work. I top them and dehydrate the greens and leave the base.

We have people in low income communities in Los Angeles raising produce in their front lawns....made news and very exciting

Grocery store tomatoes are often hybrids so the seeds won’t produce.

a few abandoned lots in the area collected tires to make container gardens. Now people paint the tires to add beauty

planting marigolds next to tomato plants....gets rid of the tomato worm

Hydroponics work well too

As long as the tires are filled- there's a lot of mosquitoes populating in them
