Love the idea to build your school in Minecraft! I’ve heard of 4th grade students building a CA mission in Minecraft, but not the school. Cool!

Karin great analogy with the Marigolds! I also like how you continued to provide "normalcy" for teachers and students by continuing with staff meetings etc...

01:06:12
In these times of uncertainty, teachers crave predicability & depend on leadership to provide positivity. I’m interested in learning more ways to provide staff with this over summer and upon return through social media or other ways.

What is "looping"

01:24:23
We would love for you to tweet out your favorite moments about today. Be sure to tag your district! @DiscoveryEd
David Camarena
01:24:38
@ pastor Doug refers to the practice of a teacher remaining with the same group of students for more than one school year. For example, a teacher who teaches a third grade class and then goes on to teach the same students, the following year, for the fourth grade.

Looping is when a group of students stay with a teacher for more than one year. So, they might have the same teacher for Gr 1 and Gr 2. I hope that helps!

Thank you ALL for taking the time to be here with us today and to do this important work of elevating & celebrating successes in these times! See you again next Thursday, June 11 - same time, same place! 💙

In our school we have multi-age classrooms, so half the class loops with their teacher for a second year.
